5th International Summer Seminar
with Carsten Møller and Michael Holm

We are happy to invite you to the fifth  international summer seminar with Carsten Møller (7. dan) and Michael Holm (6. dan), taking place from Saturday the 11th of July until Thursday the 16th of July.

The seminar will take place in Stevns (50 km south of Copenhagen) – close to both the sea and beautiful nature. 

There are trains going from Copenhagen/CPH Airport to Store Heddinge, and the E47 passes close by.

We are staying at the lovely Danhostel Stevns, Munkevænget 1, 4660 St. Heddinge.  (https://danhostelstevns.dk/)  

Practice will take place at the nearby gym.:

And we may also practice outside, weather allowing it. 

Please be aware that there is a limited number of spaces at the hostel. We have a substantial early bird discount until April  1st – for both your and our convenience, we would be grateful if you would register sooner rather than later.    

Rooms are for 2-6 people with 3 meals a day plus coffee/tea and snacks.

WHAT IS NEW THIS YEAR ? 

We have two new initiatives this year! 

1. We have skipped the age old  Normal/Instructor distinction with two different prices and extra instructor classes.
   Instead, everyone will be offered the same amount of training. Carsten and Michael are still considering exactly how this will work.Maybe classes will be split into smaller  groups with different themes. Maybe we will do a special “weapons for beginners” class in the room next door. We will see, and we are excited.
   (Please note, that due to this change, we ask you to provide your Aikido kyu/dan rank in the signup form, so we can plan better according to the level of the participants.)
2. We do an all-vegetarian meal plan.
   The whole world is doing it, of course Aikido-people are too! As always, you can inform us of food-allergies in the “comment” section of the signup form.    

Seminar & accommodation fees:

Practice: 

EARLY BIRD: 1250   DKK  /  170 €   After April 1st. :   1350 / 187 € 

Accommodation: 

EARLY BIRD:  2900 DKK / 390 €   After April 1st. :  3200DKK /430 €

When you sign up, you will receive an email with info regarding payment.  Please pay the registration fee within seven days. 

If you would like to participate in only part of the seminar, that is also possible.

If you would like to arrive a day early or stay after the seminar, that is certainly possible. You will have to arrange that directly with the hostel (https://danhostelstevns.dk/)

By signing up via the form, you agree to pay the chosen registration fee within 7 days. 

If you need to cancel your reservation, do this  via email to sumsem@ki-selskabet.dk 

Please be aware of the following: 

If you cancel your participation before april 1st, you will get af full refund minus bank-transfer fees.
For cancellations after the 1st of April,  you will be refunded the full seminar fee and half of your lodging fee
For cancellations after june 1st there is no refund.
